Highly breathable, durably waterproof lining material. Keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities.
Vibram® has been one of the leading brands of high-quality soles for many years, offering a variety of rubber blends and sole units to cover each boots specific end use requirements.
Comfort and cushioning is further improved for specific uses with a complex injection-moulding process using various layers of PU-foam padding that are poured into a mould. During the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.
The LOWA Monowrap support frame provides a three-dimensional cradle, to guide and support the foot over uneven surfaces. Made of PU, the Support frame offers excellent lightweight support.
Provides a good balance between optimal support for the foot, and pleasant rolling properties.
Independently adjustable lacing zones, one on the forefoot and one on the upper, for an improved individualised fit and better adjustments for personal comfort and different foot anatomy.
Women's specific last, designed with the anatomy of women's feet in mind, with a differently shaped instep and area around the ball of the foot.

My only complaint is that the soles can't be replaced so I have to buy a whole new pair every time the soles wear out, even though the uppers are still in good condition. I don't have a choice of styles as this is literally the only style Lowa makes in my size, so please Lowa, either make the soles replaceable or expand the size range of a style with replaceable soles.Report2 months agoRenegade GTX Mid Ws Taupe / 4This is my second pair of Renegades, I walked the Camino in my first pair and did not suffer with any blisters or foot problems. They are supportive and lightweight and good for hiking. They are the most comfortable walking boots I’ve owned. Having extensively researched walking boots from all of the major boot manufacturers I eventually decided to go for these. Am SO GLAD I DID. These are the most comfortable boots - straight out of the box - that I have ever owned; and I have owned many other boots over the years of my 'Fell and Mountain' excursions. They are made from the highest quality materials and they look like they will last forever!! The Renegade was a revelation, very stylish, comfortable and above all totally waterproof. When walking in the highlands in heavy rain my feet were the only thing that were dry at the end if the day! Even though it says true to size, I did have to size up, the size 6 are the same as my berghaus size 5 walking boots.
